Term and Condition of Our Services ( By booking and using our house call medical service, the patient, caregiver, or person making the booking agrees to the following terms and conditions)
1. Items and services sold are not eligible for a refund.
2. Payment shall be made in full upon acceptance of the quotation and before the service is provided.
3. Acceptance of the quotation must be made at least 15 MINUTES BEFORE the commencement of the doctor’s services.
4. No pro-rated refund shall be granted under any service package subscription.
5. Any additional procedures or extended hours beyond the quoted plan scope shall be chargeable.
6. The client shall not solicit or offer direct payment for nursing or doctor services to any doctors or nurses currently or previously employed by GLOBAL TOTALCARE SDN. BHD. Failure to comply grants GLOBAL TOTALCARE SDN. BHD. the right to seek compensation for any revenue loss incurred due to such actions.
7. If the patient wishes to cancel or reschedule, sufficient notice must be given before the scheduled appointment time. Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee. If the doctor is already en route or has arrived at the location, the consultation fee or deposit may be forfeited.
8. The patient or a responsible representative must be present and reachable at the confirmed time and location. If the patient cannot be contacted, is unavailable, or the address is incorrect, the appointment may be cancelled and the consultation fee or deposit may be forfeited.
9. Our house call service is not a substitute for emergency medical care. If the patient has chest pain, severe shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, loss of consciousness, heavy bleeding, seizures, or any other medical emergency, please call emergency services or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
10. By proceeding with the consultation and any treatment, the patient or legal representative gives consent for medical assessment and appropriate treatment. Verbal consent is deemed acceptable for routine consultation and minor procedures unless written consent is required by the doctor.
11. All medications, injections, drips, and procedures are provided only when clinically indicated and at the doctor’s discretion. Not all requested medications or procedures will be suitable or available. Prescription of medication is subject to medical assessment and applicable regulations.
12. The doctor reserves the right to refuse, stop, or leave a visit if:
– The environment is unsafe
– There is abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior
– There is suspected illegal activity
– The patient’s condition is beyond the safe scope of home management
Fees already incurred may remain payable.
13. A reasonable waiting period may apply on arrival. Extended waiting time caused by patient delay may result in additional charges or cancellation of the visit.
14. Patient information will be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy and medical confidentiality requirements. Relevant medical information may be documented for treatment, billing, follow-up, and legal or regulatory purposes.
15. We will provide medical care with reasonable skill and professional judgment. However, no guarantee is made regarding specific outcomes, recovery time, or treatment response. We are not liable for delays, service disruption, or failure to provide service due to traffic, weather, access issues, safety concerns, or events beyond our reasonable control.
16. We reserve the right to refuse non-urgent service requests that are inappropriate, unsafe, outside our coverage area, outside our service scope, or not medically suitable for home management.
17. We may update these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice. The latest version shall apply at the time of booking and service.
